Helixfield

Northbrook, Illinois · Mid-market operators

Install an AI agent on the work that already repeats.

Helixfield is a Northbrook, Illinois applied-AI practice for mid-market operating companies. We teach, install, and operate agent systems on one named loop — on the current best method and platform door, with a human who can reject the draft.

Grok bots, OpenAI Astra, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and peers — whichever is the current best door for the loop. Loop & Graph is the operating method we install now. When a stronger method ships, Helixfield leads with that. First move is a briefing; if the loop is clear, a Field Survey is $9,500.

Fit

Clear on who this is for.

This is for

  • Mid-market operators — typically $3–80 million — who can name the work that repeats.
  • A person who will reject a sloppy draft: partner, ops lead, controller.
  • Companies that already pay for tools and still start every cycle from a blank page.

This is not

  • “We need AI” with no loop, no owner, and no tools already in use.
  • Unsupervised chatbots, collectors, or professional advice to the public.
  • Enterprise transformation programs, invented case studies, or guaranteed DSO cuts.

How you buy

Survey, then a production install.

You do not buy AI in the abstract. Most companies start with a Field Survey, then one of the published installs. Vendor seats stay on your bill.

Current method

The operating system we install now.

Today that is Loop & Graph: pack, act, extract, ingest. Chat history is not memory. When a stronger method ships, Helixfield leads with it.

  1. 01

    Pack

Before the agent answers or acts, pull the smallest set of accepted facts, open questions, and hard rules that bear on this turn. Proposed facts stay labeled. Guessed numbers stay out.

  2. 02

    Act

Do the work with the packed graph in view: draft, configure, route, or decide. If a required fact is missing, ask. Do not invent a number, a client, or a permission.

  3. 03

    Extract

After the turn, lift new facts, decisions, risks, and tool changes. Each item gets a status: proposed, accepted, or ask.

  4. 04

    Ingest

Write extracts back into the graph. Only a human principal can move a material fact to accepted. The next pack is smarter because this one closed.

Practice

Northbrook. Operator-led.

A principal holds the client. Four desks do the work. Capacity comes from the operating system, not a bench of unnamed consultants.

  • Delivery Studio

Designs and installs agent systems on the current best method and platform door, plus the memory that holds institutional facts.

Teaches operators, managers, and principals how to brief, govern, and improve agents.

  • Client Operations

Runs retainers: monitoring, weekly packs, prompt and graph updates, and incident response.

  • Research Bench

Tracks model changes, vendor pricing, and industry patterns so each install stays current.
